I know it technically isn’t fall yet, but the second September hits, I’m already over summer shoes and ready for fall sneakers. And this year there are SO many good ones.
Brown, cream, animal print, suede, darker neutrals… basically all of our favorite sneaker trends right now were made for fall. Brown especially is having a major moment this season, which I’m very much here for.
We’ve been getting so many new pairs in at Evans Sneakers, so I wanted to put together some of our favorites to start wearing now and carry straight through the rest of the season.
The Brown Sneaker Takeover
If you buy one new sneaker for fall, make it brown. Seriously. It goes with denim, black, cream, grey, olive... basically your entire fall closet.
The adidas Handball Spezial Earth Strata Gum (W) is one of my favorites right now. It’s the perfect chocolate brown and has that retro look that makes even the most basic outfit feel put together.
The New Balance 204L Mushroom Arid Stone is another really good one if you want something more neutral. It has that mix of mushroom, taupe and earthy tones that feels very fall without being too fall.
And then there’s the Puma Speedcat OG Haute Coffee Frosted Ivory (W). The slim Speedcat shape with that deep coffee color is just so good, especially with baggy jeans or trousers. Low-profile retro sneakers are also one of the silhouettes getting a lot of attention this season.
Animal Print Is Basically a Neutral Now
I will stand by this: leopard print goes with way more than people think.
The adidas Samba OG Leopard Magic Beige (W) has already been one of our favorites, and it makes so much sense for fall. But if you want something a little different, the adidas Samba OG Giraffe Print Crystal Linen (W) is SO cute too.
Both give you that classic Samba shape with enough print to make an outfit interesting. Throw them on with jeans, a white tee and a leather jacket and you’re done.
Animal-print sneakers are also everywhere for Fall 2026, so I don’t think we’re done seeing this trend anytime soon.
The Neutrals You’ll Wear With Everything
Sometimes the best fall shoe is just the one you know you’re going to wear constantly.
The adidas Samba OG Cream White Sand Strata (W) is exactly that. Creamy, neutral and easy to style with pretty much anything.
Same goes for the New Balance 9060 Reflection (GS). If your fall wardrobe is mostly leggings, sweatshirts, denim and neutral layers, these are such an easy everyday pair.
And for something darker, the New Balance 9060 Black Tornado gives you that same 9060 silhouette in a colorway that works perfectly once you start pulling out all the black and darker pieces in your closet.
A Little Pink for Fall
Fall does NOT mean everything has to suddenly become brown.
The Nike Dunk Low Rose Whisper (W) is the perfect example. The soft pink/tan is subtle enough that it still works with a fall wardrobe, but it gives you a break from all the browns and blacks.
I love these with grey, denim, cream or even an all-black outfit when you just want a little color.
For the Streetwear Fall Outfits
The Salomon XT-6 Gore-Tex Safari might be one of the coolest pairs on this list.
It has that outdoorsy, trail-inspired look that works so well with cargos, baggy denim, oversized jackets and all the layering that comes with fall. Hiking-inspired sneakers also apart of the GORP core trend are a part of the bigger fall footwear trend this year, so this is definitely one to watch.
And Obviously… UGG Season
We couldn’t make a fall shoe list without UGGs.
The UGG Classic Ultra Mini Boot Caribou (W) is one of the pairs we’re loving right now, but honestly, once the weather starts cooling down, it’s UGG season across the board.
Ultra Minis, Classics, neutral colors, brown tones... give us all of them. They’re easy, comfortable, and somehow make leggings and a sweatshirt immediately feel like a fall outfit. Short UGG styles are already showing up in seasonal street style again this year.
Fall Is Almost Here
Basically, if you’ve been waiting for a reason to start building your fall shoe rotation, this is it.
