One of the most talked-about sneaker collaborations of the season is here. JENNIE has officially teamed up with adidas Originals for her first co-designed collection with the brand, bringing her signature style to one of adidas’ most recognizable silhouettes.
The adidas Originals by JENNIE Fall/Winter 2026 collection is inspired by the movement and elegance of ballet while still keeping that classic adidas sportswear feel. At the center of the collection is easily its standout piece: the JENNIE x adidas Superstar Square Toe Ballet, a completely new take on the Superstar that feels like the perfect mix of a sneaker and ballet flat.
Who Is JENNIE?
If you know K-pop, you definitely know JENNIE. She first rose to global fame as a member of BLACKPINK, one of the biggest K-pop groups in the world, before building an equally successful career as a solo artist. Her debut solo single, SOLO, was followed by releases including You & Me, Mantra and her first full-length album, Ruby.
But JENNIE's influence goes way beyond music. She's become one of the most recognizable names in fashion, known for mixing luxury pieces with streetwear, sportswear and more feminine styles in a way that always feels like her. She's had a long-running relationship with Chanel and has worked with adidas for years, so this collaboration feels like a pretty natural next step. Instead of simply being the face of the campaign, JENNIE actually stepped into a co-designer role for this collection and helped shape everything from the products to the overall creative direction.
And if there's anyone who can take the ballet sneaker trend and make everyone want a pair, it's probably JENNIE.
A Completely New Take on the adidas Superstar
The Superstar has been an adidas staple for decades, but this version looks completely different from the classic sneaker.
The Superstar Square Toe Ballet takes inspiration from a traditional ballet pointe shoe, replacing the Superstar's usual shape with a low-profile silhouette, wide opening and squared-off toe. The premium leather upper keeps some of the classic adidas DNA with the Three Stripes, while the bow and removable laces give you different ways to wear them.
It's basically what happens when a ballet flat and an adidas sneaker meet—and somehow it works.
The collection comes in two opposite colorways: the adidas Superstar Square Toe Ballet JENNIE Off White Black (W) and the adidas Superstar Square Toe Ballet JENNIE Black Off White (W).
How We'd Style Them
This is probably our favorite part about these because they can go in so many different directions.
The Off White Black pair is perfect if you want something lighter and easy to wear. We'd pair them with relaxed denim and a fitted top, an oversized sweater with a mini skirt, or even trousers and a simple tee. They're neutral enough to replace your everyday white sneakers but make the outfit feel way more interesting.
The Black Off White pair gives the same silhouette a completely different feel. We'd wear these with an all-black outfit, baggy denim and a leather jacket, or with a skirt and tall white socks to lean all the way into the ballet sneaker look.
You can also completely change the look of either pair depending on how you wear the removable laces. Keep them simple without the extra lacing for more of a clean ballet-flat look, or add them back when you want the shoe to feel more styled and statement-making.
Why Ballet Sneakers Are Everywhere Right Now
Ballet flats have already made their way back into everyday fashion, and ballet sneakers feel like the natural next step. They still have that feminine, low-profile look everyone loves right now, but with more of the sporty feel you'd expect from a sneaker.
The JENNIE x adidas version takes the trend a step further by starting with an actual adidas icon. Instead of just putting a sneaker sole underneath a ballet flat, adidas and JENNIE completely reworked the Superstar into something that feels new while still keeping enough of the original design to know exactly where it came from.
Whether you choose the clean Off White Black pair or the darker Black Off White colorway, these are the kind of shoes that can instantly make a simple outfit feel more intentional.
And considering how different they are from anything else in the Superstar lineup, we don't expect these to blend into the background.
